Here comes "Death Island!"
"Death Island" will not officially be released by Camel until October 1, but it is available now, if you just
can't wait! This funky novel concerns a convicted mass murder--who didn't do it!--to life on Death Island,
a tropical island in the Pacific, which looks like heaven, but can be hell to those who are dropped there to
survive, or not.
Danny Manning has only one friend who believes in his innocence: the independent-thinking wife of a local clergyman. Against her husband's wishes (her "perfect" marriage turns out to have its own problems!) Charlie Adjavon goes to great lengths to try to free Danny. Well, here's what the blurb on the back of
the book says:
"Wrongly convicted of the brutal murder of his wife, Danny Manning os exiled to Death Island, the
site of America's favorite reality show. Death Island is Hell disguised as Paradise, a place where no one gets
off unless the audience vote goes his way.
Danny's day to day survival depends on a brilliant and hilarious psychopath who knows the ropes. But
his ultimate fate lies in the hands of a local clergyman's quirky wife, a smarmy TV host, and Death Island's
fickled home viewers. If voted 'off the island' he will be free, innocent or not.
Can he stay alive that long? And will he ever discover the identiy of the real murderer.
...And okay, okay, I'm really sorry about Talon! How did I know everyone would fall in love with him?

New to blogging:
Okay, so I'm new to blogging! I just want to tell you about my first published novel, and a reaction I got from a former high school classmate!
My book is titled "The Last Time We Were Here", and is available from Wingsepress.inc or Amazon.com It is a story of nine popular high school classmates from the fifties who were murdered at their tenth reunion by a couple of jealous misfits, and return some forty years later, reunite in a small Massachusetts town, and realize they have come back to prevent the same thing from happening again.
Fortunately, my high school classmates are still speaking to me! I received an email from Paul, one of the real characters, who said he laughed all the way through it as he recognized various characters from the past, including teachers and the guidance counselor. But the funny part for me was--he said he and his younger wife went back for their fiftieth reunion, which was held at the Lakeview Inn (Lakeside in my novel), and she was terrified that something horrible would happen!
So--if you're interested, as I am, in what happens after death and the possibility of reincarnation, give "Last Time" a read. The two incidents that I described with the kids, actually did happen with my own kids.
How do you explain that?
